| Setting
up your own Computer as an Outgoing Mail Server
This
article looks at how to setup your computer as an outgoing
SMTP Mail Server, so that you can send mail from Outlook,
even when your ISP does not allow you to send mail through
their servers unless you are connected to the internet via
their network. This is very important for small businesses
who do not have Exchange Server but want to use Outlook for
e-mail and still have their clients receive mail from a “domain”
address as opposed to a general mail service address like
yahoo.com, hotmail.com, or gmail.com.
