Here's a quick tip that'll save you time and
aggravation. If you use the Junk E-mail feature within Outlook,
you can easily increase the system's accuracy and reduce the
number of false-positives, all by checking one checkbox.
Do as follows:
- Select Junk E-mail->Junk E-mail
Options from the Actions menu.
- Click the Safe Senders tab. At the bottom
of the window, check "Automatically add people
I e-mail to the Safe Senders list".
That's it. Now, every time you send a message, that user
is automatically white-listed and you no longer have to fish
them out of the Junk folder. Over time, you'll see more and
more real junk in the Junk E-Mail folder and your good e-mail
will flow to your inbox like it should.
